Hokkien province Quanzhou city has 41 temples above 1000 years old and 15 temples that are almost 1000 years old.
Before ccb cantonese son of whore @rotiprata suka suka accuse good hokkiens like me of being tua pow or telling half truth, this is a 100% fact certified by UNESCO of Quanzhou being world religion museums.
And it’s another 100% fact that I have a hokkien heritage thread on the UNESCO award previously. Too bad the thread is lost in the big mess hokkien consolidated thread created by @Froggy.
Besides the almost 60 temples that are near 1000 years old and above, there are many more temples that are 400, 500, 600 and 700 years old!
Who wants to call hokkiens tua pow about Hokkien heritage being out of this world? Not just the one and only one city in China that has so many ancient temples of various religions together, but one and only one in the world!
And that’s solid proof of Hokkiens being superior people that are welcoming and tolerant of foreigners - including their religion - since Tang Dynasty time.
many of these temples are shrines to memorialize the massive deaths from refugees and escapees who ran away from wars and famine in the north. in other words they escaped to fuckien province to die. it’s a tombstone and cemetery province.
Where are the1000 year old mosque in quangzhou? Probably Destroyed rebuilt into a temple when hokkiens slaughtered arab and persuans in the city?
