SINGAPORE: An integrated development project that will be the largest in China's Tianjin Eco-City is expected to take shape from 2014 and will be home to about 10,000 households.

This project will be developed by its master developer, Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Co (SSTEC) and Chinese developer Shimao Property Holdings Ltd.

Shimao Property Holdings Ltd is a subsidiary under Shimao Group, a property developer in mainland China.

The project is estimated to cost around S$2.1 billion, making it the largest development to date for the bilateral project between China and Singapore.

The project is located in the Yong Ding Zhou area, south of the Eco-City's Start-Up Area.

The development will span over 100 hectares of residential and commercial land, and 80 hectares of public park space.
