Not 1 but at least 2. One is found in the forest and there still might be others. In other reports there is another discovery of a 1 meter odd sized metal ball about 3.8 tons. That can not be scratched by knife nor etched by acid.

(KOREA HERALD/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - The Earth has always had a second moon, a new study has claimed. When astronomers in Arizona found a mysterious titanium white object orbiting the Earth in the fall of 2006, it looked like a spent rocket stage.
But closer inspection revealed that the object called 2006 RH120 was a natural body. It was a tiny asteroid measuring just a few metres across but it still qualified as a natural satellite just like our Moon. Captured by the Earth's gravitational field, it rotated around the Earth until June 2007. In the new study, astrophysicists claim that it was not an anomaly but a temporary second moon.
According to Cornell University's Mikael Granvik, Jeremie Vaubaillon and Robert Jedicke, they have calculated the population of 'irregular natural satellites that are temporarily captured' by Earth. In their study, researchers say that while these moons are small, the scientific implications of this discovery are phenomenal.
'At any given time, there should be at least one natural Earth satellite one metre in diameter orbiting the Earth,' they were quoted as saying. Instead of having to send crews to asteroids astronomers can wait until they come closer to Earth to intercept and learn more about the origins of our solar system.

Here it is - the strange metallic object found in forest mentioned in above post:

In Chile has been found in the jungle had a metal ball, and its diameter 1 m, weight about 3 tons. And its constituents who do not know of the compounds. Strange metal ball is a smooth surface, whether by fire, with the acid leaching, or have no effect on the cutting knife. Chile Sciences Dean Dr. Ramos Tell Gertz, the metal ball is representative of extraterrestrial civilization deliberately left behind. In ancient times they may have visited our planet, in our time may have visited our planet.

The moon has been with us for billions of years, almost since the formation of Earth. From then on, Earth has also had countless other satellite companions. In fact, we probably have one right now.
But these objects are not full-fledged moons. They're more like temporary, extremely small moons. Called irregular natural satellites, they’re boulders from the large population of near-Earth asteroids that get snagged by our gravity. They orbit the Earth for a few months, then escape and move on.
A new study on the Web site arXiv.org says that such satellites should be very common. [Mikael Granvik, Jeremie Vaubaillon and Robert Jedicke, The population of natural Earth satellites] At any given time we probably have one temporarily captured orbiter of about a meter in size.
These space rocks are awfully hard to see. But astronomers seem to have spotted one such transient satellite in 2006. The asteroid, dubbed 2006 RH120, was a few meters in diameter. It was captured by Earth for about a year and then broke away back to interplanetary space.
But not all temporary orbiters escape. About one percent of them actually impact Earth during their captivity, according to the study. Fortunately, the real moon keeps a respectful distance.
