18班來往西九龍至福田站的列車一度需要取消。
【星島日報報道】港鐵今早公布，受電力供應影響，有18班來往西九龍至福田站的高鐵列車一度需要取消。港鐵之後表示，原先宣佈需要取消的18班車，可回復按原定時間開出，最終沒有班次受影響。港鐵會繼續與電力公司跟進維修進度。
港鐵解釋，由於電力公司供電故障，影響到高鐵香港段的列車服務，港鐵於早上約5時20分，通知公眾需要減少列車班次。由早上約8時至1時半期間，有18班往來西九龍站及福田的短途班次需要取消，車站加派人手協助乘客。
在電力公司進行搶修的同時，港鐵工程人員亦盡力研究作出可能的技術安排，以盡量減低事件對服務的影響。經過與內地鐵路單位方面協調，作出臨時調整供電網的安排，將受影響範圍減至最小。有關的緊急安排於早上7時前已完成。

[Sing Tao Daily News] The MTR announced this morning that due to the power supply, 18 high-speed trains from West Kowloon to Futian Station had to be cancelled. After the MTR said that the 18 buses that had been announced to be cancelled could be rescheduled to be opened at the scheduled time, and eventually no shifts were affected. The MTR will continue to follow up with the power company for maintenance progress.
The MTR explained that due to the power supply failure of the power company, which affected the train service of the Hong Kong section of the High Speed Rail, the MTR informed the public that it was necessary to reduce the number of trains at about 5.20 am. From about 8:00 am to 1:30 am, there will be 18 short-distance shifts to and from West Kowloon Station and Futian. The station will send additional staff to assist passengers.
At the same time as the power company's rush repairs, the MTR engineers also tried their best to make possible technical arrangements to minimize the impact of the incident on the service. After coordination with the mainland railway units, an interim adjustment of the power supply network was made to minimize the affected area. The relevant emergency arrangements were completed before 7 am.

The MTR announced at about 5:20 am that due to the power supply failure of the power company, some of the high-speed train short-distance trains between West Kowloon and Futian were cancelled, involving 18 trains. After 7 o'clock, the MTR said that the shift can be resumed.

[Sing Tao Daily News] Due to the power failure, some of the high-speed trains from the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high-speed rail to the West Kowloon Station and Futian Station were cancelled in the morning and have returned to normal.
The MTR said that the high-speed rail train service has returned to normal after the MTR has adopted emergency technical arrangements. The MTR will continue to monitor the situation and the impact of the incident on the frequency.
CLP said that after the power supply repair work was carried out in the morning with the MTR section in Shigang, Hong Kong, it was found that two of the three 132,000 volt lines could not be started, so the power supply could not be fully supplied.

CLP said that after the power supply repair work was carried out in the morning with the MTR section in Shigang, Hong Kong, it was found that two of the three 132,000 volt lines could not be started, so the power supply could not be fully supplied.
The MTR said earlier that due to the power failure in the Hong Kong section, the high-speed train short-haul trains between the West Kowloon Station and Futian Station will need to be cancelled. The 18 bus times that were once affected were: G5814, G5836, G5813, G5816, G5835, G5838, G5815, G5818, G5837, G5840, G5817, G5820, G5839, G5842, G5819, G5822, G5841, G5821.
