History repeats itself

- Bumi / Muslim preferential policies
- richer non Bumi non Muslim merchants despite discriminative policies
- Mamak Advisor
- Mat King smoking pot
- Never invest to infrastructure to ensure the city’s ability to defend itself
- Infighting, land grabbing allies and relatives

The Portuguese people still live in their settlement in Malacca.

Colonial masters always spread their seed in their colonies. That's why some Viets look like Frenchies.

I think nowadays they look like this. But red is maintained.

The Portuguese were denied during their first attempt in invading Malacca. Then 2nd time they succeeded. Their firepower too much for the Dagger and Spear wielding Malacca Mats. Even the Malacca Sultan fled to another neighboring state to seek refuge.

Portuguese Love. :inlove:

Portugal: most of their guys are yandao and most of their girls are chiobus. High quality genes. Spreading across the globe from Brazil to Macau. Too bad those in Malacca seemed to have interbred with less attractive species for generations.

You can say malacca was 5pthe beginning of the end of trade being dominated by indians and arabs. Once europeans control and dominate the sea lanes, they by pass traditional middlemen and was instruemental in the demise of india and middle eastern empires.

The dilapidated Portuguese Square reflects the sorry settlement. Has to do with the latin "manana" (wait tomorrow) nature.
Kinda lazy, insular. Offset by their musical, singing talents and cuisine (like Devils Curry). Local reference "gragos"

To their credit, fun loving like their Fiesta and Xmas dos.

The education system did not suit them.
