PAP needs to grow some balls and stand with Israel.

The PAP is afraid of offending the Muslims in SG so they cannot openly show their appreciation of Israel for coming to our aid in setting up S'pore's defence forces after independence, when no other country agreed to help us.

So you are affirming what I said that SG did nothing to help the anti apartheid South Africa struggles.
Didn't recognize the legitimacy of ANC. Didn't send any financial support.
Didn't send any aid.
Didn't advocate for ANC in the UN.
Didn't sanction apartheid South Africa.
Didn't even voice out the call to release Mandela until the rest of the world did so.
Singapore just bend in the prevailing winds. Spineless.
That is why Mandela went around the world thanking the countries and friends that remain steadfast supporting his struggle during his incarceration and not once did he thank Singapore for any of that.

Singapore did its part, read my earlier post again. You are just nitpicking and pontificating what Singapore ought to have done. It's just your opinion, which counts for nothing. Mandela visited Singapore in 1997 and gave a lecture at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies.
