that's actually a credit to the swedes as a bunch of people and not to their system. if they changed their tax regime somewhat, they would be even more productive. I have seen Swedes outside their native environment, they do very well. OTOH, I have seen those immigrants not used to their tax regime crumble in an attempt to gain a foothold there.
The only immigrants to Sweden that do well are the freeloaders.
I have run a business in Singapore and I am now running a business in NZ and OZ.
I can assure you that Singapore has no hidden taxes. In fact the opposite is true. There are loads of tax breaks and grants to help businesses get going.
