High-speed crash during Orchard Road 'race' leaves car a mangled ruin

STOMPer Helmi says this car was one of a group of five cars racing illegally down Orchard Road at 3am on Sep 11. According to him, the driver of the car fled the scene after the accident.
The STOMPer wrote:
"This accident happened so fast.
"It happened outside my workplace at around 3am on Sep 11.
"A total of five cars were racing. The first four manage to pass by but the last didn't.
"It hit a lamp post and a tree. The driver was not a responsible man and ran away."
