Heroin, 'Ice' worth more than S$185,000 seized

SINGAPORE: The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) seized 1.63kg of heroin and arrested three men suspected of drug trafficking on Thursday night.
Ninety grammes of 'Ice' and S$20,000 cash were also seized in the anti-drug operation.
The drugs are worth more than S$185,000.
CNB officers had observed two male suspects meeting in the vicinity of Choa Chu Kang Way.
After the men parted ways, the 42-year-old male Singaporean suspect drove off in his car while the 41-year-old male Malaysian suspect drove off in a bus.
The first suspect was arrested at a traffic junction in Choa Chu Kang Drive when his car came to a stop.
A plastic bag at the front passenger seat of the car was found to contain about 1.4kg of heroin.
CNB subsequently found a bundle of heroin weighing about 230g in the suspect's hideout in Choa Chu Kang.
The Malaysian man was spotted picking up a 25-year-old male Singaporean suspect along Teck Whye Crescent.
The 25-year-old was arrested after he alighted from the bus.
CNB officers recovered a plastic package that contained 'Ice' that he had discarded before his arrest.
The Malaysian man was arrested after he stopped the bus along Lentor Avenue.
