An Indian Air Force Mi-17 helicopter ran into some hard luck on soft ground during a disaster relief mission in Sri Lanka.

According to local media reports, the ground was not surveyed prior to the helicopter's landing. It was eventually freed on Dec 4, after heavy machineries were brought in.
