On the fateful day of 7 November 2018, Madam Chua had just came back from her scheduled jab in the morning at KKH in her battle with cancer, of which her chances of recovery was high, and was struggling in great pain before she suddenly stopped responding. Immediately, her son, Cheng Yu, dialled 995 and performed CPR on her till the paramedics arrived. The paramedics took over for some time until they brought her to the hospital for resuscitation till she passed away, and Cheng Yu was with her all the way.

Madam Chua is a single Mother, leaving behind 2 children, Cheng Yu, 23 and Shi Ting, 18 respectively. She had single handedly raised 2 wonderful children, put them through school.

Cheng Yu is currently on his first semester of 3rd year in NUS with 1.5 years to go, and Shi Ting is currently taking her GCE ‘A’ Level. During that fateful day, Shi Ting was in the library studying for her first paper the next day, and it must be heart-breaking for her to continue her exam the next day.

Both Cheng Yu and Shi Ting lost their most beloved Mother, and not to mention their financial support to put them through school. Their only relatives left are their aunty and their aged old grandfather.

This case was brought to us from Jeremy of Hock Koon Casket, and while we’re helping both Cheng Yu and Shi Ting with the funeral funds, the immediate assistance is to keep them going for their sudden lost of financial support at home.

Both Cheng Yu and Shi Ting now are at a loss and feeling completely heartbroken, having loss their one and only Mother.

Giveasia Kindness would like to help both Cheng Yu / Shi Ting to raise at least $2000 a month for a period of 9 months, to help them tie through this difficult period, and after Madam Chua’s funeral, we’ll be helping also to pay the difference for Madam Chua’s funeral short-for using our Dignity Fund.

Please open up your heart to help this pair of brother and sister who have just lost their Mother, and funds raised will be managed by Giveasia Kindness to be disburse to them monthly.

Thank you.
