Man fined for sending topless photos of ex-girlfriend to her family

A man who threatened to send topless photos of his ex-girlfriend to her family was on Monday fined $1,000.
Soh Kok Hin, 55, had pleaded guilty to one charge of criminal intimidation. Another was taken into account during sentencing.
A district court heard that Soh, an odd-job labourer had taken the photos of his ex-girlfriend with his mobile phone. They were taken in his car, when the pair were still in a relationship.
The couple had started dating in 2003 but the relationship soured and the victim, a 48-year-old hairdresser, broke up with Soh in 2009, the court heard.
