Everytime the papers are so proud to present you the BTO demand is always ten times higher than the supply.
What does that mean to you and your grown up children struggling to find a place at home?
Funny news ? Then the news is gloating at the low supply ?
Or are we overly populated which is a taboo to speak up ?
The latter is true ! With new citizens being made at myriad at nobody business , how else can the puny island provide ? Think again---10, 000 fight for 2000 BTO flats, very proud about it ?
Small island has land constraint, how long more can this stupidity go on ? 10 years, 20 years ...?
PRs are in the thousands in the making, and still making, what does that means? They can buy HDB resale flats !
So what are the consequences? COV will rocket, only the highest bidder wins the dirty stuff . And they call it palace already becos back home is much worst.
But what is the implication in the long run? Are we not creating another war-zone country?
Dont be silly, HDB BTO flats cannot calm the resale market.
PRs and new citizens are made 100 times faster than HDB flats being built. The resale market is shored by PRs so new flats price are up up and the way....no one to contradict....it is market demand so to speak !
Expensive Housing in small island is a big problem if population must explode.
HK is purely natural whereas Singapore housing is man-made disaster ! Wait and see....
Singapore will suffer badly down the road, let say another 10 years if the FT stupidity continues........
