Its impossible to stop forest fire when its tinder dry. Even US and australia cannot do this

The fires in Indonesia are deliberately set. And the Indo government can't be bothered about stopping it. Definitely, they won't do it for SINKapore's sake.
Why don't sinkies provide backup in terms of machinery and manpower if they are serious in stoping the fires?
Because PAP is cheap. SINKapore is successful because we never give freebies to our neighbours. If Indon wants help, then it must beg for it. Cloud seeding does not always work. In sumatra, it is peat forest. Undernesth the soil lies huge amount of " arang" which continue burn even if the fire on top has been doused. Only the mondoon rsin csn end the fires.
Just recently, bangkok was smothered with haze due to open burning by paddy and sugar cane farmers. only a huge change of mindset will reduce our haze problem.
