Although this video excerpt is from a movie which takes a humourous point of view of this issue, on a deeper spiritual level, the irony is that, individuals in emotionally & sexually fulfilling relationships, are actually closer to God (ie. Love, in all forms) than priests/nuns/monks who dogmatically shun relationships with the opposite sex as 'sinful' (their real 'sin' is own their misguided views on sexuality and love, which harms themselves and others).

The movie is an expressing a point of view. No religion I know looks down on sexuality and love any more than it looks down on food and clothing. Monks seek to replace human romantic relationships with a deeper spiritual relationship with God. This spiritual tradition goes back thousands of years. Those who can do it are actually happier and more at peace. Contrast that with our tangled affairs and relationships and such. Nobody denies human love has a spiritual dimension, but in the end it is limited.

Yes. Where to fill the application form?

I am especially interested in the Order of Invictus.:o

Please do not confuse monks/nuns with pastors and priests. Very different aspirations.
