Kindergarten food concern

I AM a parent of a child studying at Radin Mas PAP Community Foundation kindergarten.

I thought schools in Singapore are trying to promote healthy eating, but my child's school serves mostly biscuits during snack time. And each child is given about six pieces each time.

Given the duration of four hours in school, how filling can the six biscuits be? If it is not biscuits, it would be a hotdog bun. Occasionally, they are given cake.

A few parents checked with the teachers and the answer they were given was that the general election (GE) was coming. The room with a pantry and a stove has been locked up for some time because of the GE, so they have not been able to cook macaroni, which is what the pupils got to eat at least once a week before.

I hope the relevant authorities will look into the healthy eating habits of pupils.

Is macaroni healthy food?

kindergarten kids eat 6 biscuits for a period of 4 hours not enough?
I think parents these days really overfeed their children

Strange indeed. In this coming election, is the PAP intend to buy our votes by cooking for us a sumptuous meal while we queuing up to vote.
