Has LSL's apology done the trick and won Aljunied?

I dread the possibility that Singaporeans, especially older voters and female voters, would have been swayed by his orchestrated apology and given him that fraction needed to secure Aljunied. Could daft Singaporeans forget that he is apologising just hours before polling day, and only months after giving PAP politicians record bonuses and payrises?

I am sickened by the thought of 87-0 or 86-1.
