Ah Keat said in his parliamentary speech -
“It is in times of crisis that the character of a nation can be seen. We are all in this together and we must all look after one another in these trying times,” he said. "This is what it means to be SG United.”"While we attend to the immediate and urgent tasks, we will also set our sights on the long-term so that Singapore comes out of this crisis stronger as a people," he said.

Seems he did not know what he was talking about. If "people" and "SG United" are locals, then he was on the right track. If this statement is intended to include PS, he was delusional. He already included PS in the package for self employed locals for upgrading of work skills.

Why pappies love PS so much? These PS are not locals. Why gave them free tax payers' money to upgrade their skills to take jobs away from locals? This is madness of the highest degree.

These PS are in SG presumably they already have skills that locals do not have. Upgrading the skills of these PS is just like robbing the poor locals to enrich the PS in the job market and to screw your own people.

Would a foreign country give free money to singaporeans residing as permanent residents there to upgrade their work skills? There is no such generosity in the world. It is just crazy to put PS first and let locals die struggling for jobs.
