Krishna Rao Narisama Naidoo, 34, was handed two counts under the Prevention of Corruption Act for offering bribes to a police officer attached to the Traffic Police Division on 21 November last year.
According to his charge sheets, the Malaysian was in the vicinity of the Pioneer Road roundabout off Ayer Rajah Expressway at around 11.40pm, when he allegedly offered a bribe of $5 in cash to the police officer as an inducement so that the officer would not investigate into a traffic incident.
