Woman screams and stomps on roof of taxi
SINGAPORE - A bizarre scene was witnessed yesterday. A woman was seen screaming and stomping on the roof of a stationary taxi on Tuesday morning at Hougang Avenue 9.
According to a reader who notified citizen-journalism website Stomp of the incident, the woman proceeded to lie on the road, "halting traffic for a while" before police arrived to take her away.

The woman was screaming and shouting in a mix of Mandarin and English at the cab driver and vehicles which drove past, the reader told Stomp.

Police have arrested the woman, a 19-year-old Vietnamese, for disorderly behaviour, The Straits Times reported on Wednesday.
According to the national broadsheet, the cab driver declined to be interviewed but said in his police statement that the woman had flagged down his taxi and climbed on top of it when he stopped his vehicle.
"I woke up to what I thought was noise from some construction, but I looked down to see this young woman stomping on the top of a taxi. She seemed hysterical," said an eyewitness who lives on the 10th floor of the block, who gave his name only as Mr Letchumanan, told The Straits Times.
The entire commotion (watch video here), lasting about 15 minutes, also attracted a huge crowd of onlookers.
