I thought all HDB estates has all these fixed equipment in the fitness corner down the block. No? Why need to have one at the fire exit and potentially kill someone during evacuation if there's a fire in the block?https://tinyurI.com/yca7yvw4
no lah, it's just the lift technician's hangar for the pulleys that needs to be changed while he oils the joints as this thingamagig is high up on the 23rd floor. it's only when a reservist attempts chin-ups on this - it's then appropriately known as a gym equipt, since their chins can never go over the bar
