wouldn't call a straight my favorite poker hand. an unsuited straight is considered a weak 5-card hand. lo just got lucky 6 showed up on the turn. phua could have gotten another pair and that would be a full house, a much stronger 5-card hand. but since lo did the double-peek, oops triple-peek, at his pair of cards and went all-in after 6 came out, phua should have figured lo got the straight and his chances for a full house diminished considerably at the river. calling the all-in for chua was most likely a gambling instinct to respond with a beautiful set of triple-10 and hoping for the kill. plus the fact that he was sizably pot-committed after the flop. just unlucky for phua.
