刀盘、前盾、中盾、尾盾、螺旋机依次启动，“玛利亚”缓缓地从隧道口向前进发，没过几分钟，新鲜的泥土和碎石便源源不断被挖掘出来。
“玛利亚”是由中国铁建股份有限公司（下称中国铁建）为莫斯科地铁建设工程制造的第五台盾构机，它将从莫斯科地铁第三换乘环线西南段“阿米尼”工区掘进，它的加入标志着中国铁建莫斯科地铁建设项目进入冲刺阶段。

“我们的盾构机是中国铁建自主研发生产的，特别针对莫斯科的气象条件做了优化。”中国铁建莫斯科地铁项目部“阿米尼”工区负责人耿斌说。
据了解，中国铁建在工程建设中采取了一系列防寒措施，“玛利亚”平均每天可掘进20米。
“未来最高速度可以提高到每天掘进40米。此前的工程中，我们已经完成了下穿铁路等多个难点，过几天可能还要穿越一个汽车中心，不过这对我们来说难度并不大。”耿斌说。
负责与中方共同推进项目的莫斯科工程院地铁九处副总经理谢尔盖·维诺格拉多夫说：“今天，第五台盾构机开始了掘进工作，一切都在按计划进行。中国设备展现出了优异性能，掘进速度很快，工作质量无可挑剔。”

莫斯科市副市长马克西姆·利克苏托夫此前在接受新华社记者专访时说，中国企业在地铁建设方面掌握多项技术，富有经验智慧，可保障快速圆满完成建设任务，因此赢得了莫斯科地铁第三换乘环线西南段项目竞标。
中国铁建俄罗斯公司总经理杜占辉说，中国有先进的地铁建造技术，俄方在一些设计和工艺方面具有特色，“一带一路”为中俄建设者相互学习、共同提升工程设计、管理等各方面能力提供了宝贵机会。
“中国铁建的工程建设还为带动当地经济发展贡献了力量。现在我们的建设工地已经为俄罗斯创造了300多个就业岗位。”杜占辉说。
据了解，中国铁建在莫斯科地铁第三环线建设项目中承担的施工线路全长4.6公里，包含3个车站的主体结构施工和4个盾构区间、9条隧道的施工。该线路预计于2020年全线建成通车。

莫斯科当地时间6月11日下午，由中国铁建为莫斯科量身打造，符合极端严寒天气的首台盾构机“波丽娜”号在维尔纳斯站正式始发，向着米丘林站掘进，标志着中国铁建莫斯科地铁第三换乘线西南段工程正式进入盾构施工阶段。这是中国在欧洲首个地铁工程。
该项目应用的5台直径6.28米的盾构机，均由中国铁建自主研发生产，解决了俄罗斯极寒条件下盾构施工难题。
