Keyboard will survive even a soak in soap bath tub. As long you you rinse and dry it sufficiently.
I worked in electronic assembly plants when I was student. We washed printed circuit boards with components on them after SMT soldering process in a semi-automatic machine, to clean off soldering flux on them. Basically it is soapy hot water and clear water and warm air blow drying, 1-2 mins. After that they will go to QC test supplying electricity on them to functionally test the electronics. Only some will fail and mostly not due to cleaning. Most of the failures I recall were due to bad components mounted on them. Needs re-work. They will come back to the cleaning line again after re-work and re-test.
Keyboards are no different. Dry it thoroughly under sun after cleaning. When wet it will fail to work.
