SMRT Breakdowns -Guinness Book to hold printing of 2012 edition

In a statement released today, Mr Guinness Buku said that while the three days in a row was impressive even by Singapore standards, he said that the book's printers have been told to suspend the printing of the 2012 edition in which the all-new category of "Most Number of Successive Days of Train Interruptions" has been freshly included following the spectacular performance of SMRT. He said that the proposed re-opening of the downtown line at 10-00am Sunday may not materialise. The record of THREE BREAKDOWNS ON THREE SUCCESSIVE DAYS could therefore be broken, although there is not much competition of any near comparison has been recorded in recent years.

And of course, there is a strong possibiity that it may go up to 5/5. But on the question of the 6/6 possibility, he diplomatically added that with global warming happening, one can never be sure.
