16-year-old boy admits keeping a lookout while two teens raped girl

A 16-year-old Singaporean boy has pleaded guilty to a series of crimes which has been described by a prosecutor as "especially troubling" given the severity and frequency of the accused's offending, CNA reported on Thursday (9 Oct).
The boy, who cannot be named due to a gag order, admitted keeping watch while two teenagers raped and sexually assaulted a girl.
He also filmed a voyeuristic video of a schoolmate who was in a compromised state in the canteen toilet. Separately, the teen admitted assaulting another schoolmate over a vape-related issue.
All of these incidents – including the theft of two wireless mouse devices from a Popular bookstore – occurred in the space of less than two years.
As per CNA, the court has called for a report assessing the teen's suitability for reformative training and adjourned sentencing to November. More details of his crimes can be read in their coverage.
