Guard charged with molest

A SECURITY guard was charged on Monday with molesting a 17-year-old student. Tay Buck Chiew, 45, is accused of rubbing himself against the back of the student at a void deck at Jalan Bahagia at about 2am on July 18. He was given until next Monday to engage a lawyer. If found guilty, he can be jailed for up to two years or fined or caned or received any combined sentence.
