So slow! My bus journey was longer, thanks to driver’s driving at a snail's pace
STOMPer usagi74 was frustrated with his SBS bus number 55 driver who drove at a speed of 30km/h and stopped at bus stops where there were no passengers flagging down the bus.
The STOMPer was travelling on the bus on Sunday (Dec 6) at about 5pm.
“Along the way I found that the driver was driving at a speed of around 30km/h although there was light traffic and no rain at that time.
“Furthermore he kept turning into bus stops when nobody flagged down the bus.
“When approaching traffic lights, the driver let go the accelerator as though waiting for the light to turn red. This made the travelling time for my journey very slow.
“It has been written that public transport companies want to upgrade their service standards. However with this type of service, how can one improve?”
