A unit of Sembcorp Industries has inked a 1.86 billion yuan (S$376 million) joint venture deal with a Chinese partner to set up a company to develop the Singapore-Sichuan Hi-tech Innovation Park in China.
Singapore-Sichuan Investment Holdings (SSIH), a joint venture of Sembcorp Development, is partnering with the Chengdu Hi-tech Investment Group.
They will set up a company called Sino-Singapore (Chengdu) Innovation Park Development to develop the 1,000-hectare park, Sembcorp said on Tuesday.
Sembcorp owns a 50 per cent stake in SSIH.
