So I met this civil servant at a dinner who was working on the casino regulatory body and he said that the price of admission to the ir was chosen because it was just a bit less than the bus fare to genting. Haha wat a joke wat if bus fares go down in future?

it's a bloody lame strategy la. if sg gamblers wanna roll, kena 2nd class reception in own home soil, they will continue to go out to roll. go genting to roll, still can enjoy scenario + good food, can get away from sg for breather. or if really wanna be exclusive will still take cruise too.

even if local IR is free admission to sg gambler, they may still prefer to go outside sg to roll, minimize chance of bumping into familiar faces.

At blackjack table, PM Loong shout "Picture", the croupier faints. After recover, MM Lee shout "Seven Up", the croupier faints again.
