台中2017年發生一起命案，簡姓男子一日和女友及另一名男性友人蕭男喝酒，但喝酒後簡男已經昏昏欲睡，沒想到這時蕭男竟然企圖對簡男「上下其手」，制止後對方仍然繼續，簡男氣不過竟然拿燈管等物毆打蕭男，直到蕭男死亡後簡男竟然在旁邊與女友發生性行為。
根據《ETtoday新聞雲》報導，判決書指出30歲的簡姓男子，和死者蕭姓男子是好友，蕭男還把租來的一間位在台北市北屯區的房子給簡男居住，就連簡男房屋仲介的工作都是蕭男介紹的，蕭男幾乎就像是簡男的恩人。

就在2017年12月22日，當天晚上兩個人加上簡男的女友到租屋處喝酒，不過酒後意外就這樣發生，蕭男本身是同性戀，喝酒後見到簡男已經幾乎昏睡過去，竟然伸手挑逗對方，先是摳簡男的手臂接著再拉開他褲子，撫摸對方的下體，簡男立刻推開蕭男表示「我不喜歡」。
沒想到蕭男不但不停手甚至發出淫蕩聲，引發簡男不滿，憤怒之下多次持鈍器毆打對方，一直到清晨8點蕭男想要離開，卻被簡男及其女友阻止，接著簡男拿金屬桌腳及燈管毆打蕭男，法官更查出蕭男被打昏倒在床邊後，簡男甚至和女友在一旁發生性行為。
簡男當天下午起床後才發現蕭姓男子不對勁已經死亡，女友報警求救，而簡男則是向警方自首，事後法官認為，蕭男被打倒臥床邊後簡男竟然還與女友發生性行為，認為其沒有悔悟之心，且與被害人家屬未達成和解，法官予以判刑，23日台中地院依傷害致死罪判刑9年，可上訴二審。（黃韻璇報導）
