In my almost three decades of experience dealing with capital markets practitioners, I have observed a gradual trend relating to the sluggish state of our Singapore capital markets. If left uncorrected, I fear that Singapore may run the risk of losing its position as a financial services and capital markets hub.
Having just returned from a series of investor meetings in North America, I heard investors lament the low trading volumes and lack of liquidity that constrain valuation potential. The dearth of new listing and equity counters harms the appeal of the Singapore stock market and we need to arrest this unsettling trend.

SGX is just a few GLC traders masturbating each other and a bunch of clueless uncles & aunties punting their CPF monies at where the wind blows.
it will lack the vibrance of HK or NY.

Despite so many many saga....SGX has grown drom stregth to strength.

Today still Heng Ong Huat de woh...GOOD JOB, Boss John and his national team

God Save The Good Hands
God Save Boss John n Friends
