Stuttgart – ARREST WARRANT! A young German who was arrested by special forces from the Baden-Württemberg State Criminal Police Office and the Kehl police is said to have prepared an Islamist-motivated attack in Germany. The 21-year-old was arrested on Thursday when he entered France, as the police now announced.
►He wanted to buy a fully automatic assault rifle in Germany and belongs to the radical Islamist spectrum, according to the current status of the investigation.
►The 21-year-old (resident in France) is also said to have obtained and passed on instructions for building explosive and incendiary devices – to whom is unclear. The officers seized several cell phones and cash apparently intended for the purchase of weapons from him. There are currently no indications of a specific attack target. The suspect’s home in France was searched.
