Gen Y r full of it!!! Surprise outburst from doctor on air

Was driving home yesterday and on the radio. The evening talkshow was on ..topic was on World Nurse Day..(yawn!). A caller came on and identified himself as a doctor. Was really not listening until he began saying he is not a Gen Y doctor, that in his time he treated his nurses with respect. When prompted by the DJ, he said today's Gen Y doctors are just ...full of it!! ..meaning today's doctors probably do not respect nurses and treat them like menial workers.
Well...that's a eye opener!! In today's conservative politically correct landscape, this outburst is as loud as it come. Sign of disharmony between doctors and nurses,...between Gen Y doctors and other doctors. Maybe can help explain the state of our healthcare system today!!
People are already saying our next Gen are not stepping onto the plate, not hungry enough, not loyal enough, know only how to enjoy, have deep sense of entitlement...etc. Sound familiar???

It all boils down to elitism. And this environment is highly conducive for it to fester and grow.

The next Gen is supposed to take the baton from us to run even faster. After all they had better upbringing, better education , better opportunities...better health...etc. Now they r failing us!!! The older Gen has brought about the Singapore miracle in the 80s, 90s...etc we have run ahead of the pack. Now the pack has caught up and overtaking us!!! The gahment shares a huge load of the blame for this. Something must be wrong with the education,the culture, the strategies..etc
