CARDS, roulette tables and betting chips used to be the items seized whenever the police raided illegal gambling dens.

But not any more.

On Tuesday evening, the police raided one such joint at Lorong 32, Geylang and found only computers with virtual gambling games.

TNP understands that den operators have been using computers for illegal gambling since 2007.

It is also understood that patrons there exchange cash for credits before they start gaming.
