A plane passenger caused a mid-air altercation after upgrading herself by laying down on an entire row of premium seats, then refusing to remain in the one assigned when ushered back by flight attendants.

Before take-off, a middle-aged woman onboard a four-hour Air Asia flight from Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong, decided to move from her standard economy seat, to a row of vacant priority seats, to a have a lie down.

Her self-upgrade to the premium economy seats, which usually carried an extra charge for more leg room, enraged other passengers who paid a premium price for the luxury.

Fellow passenger Bruce Lam was sitting across the aisle and noticed the woman switch seats on the March 2 flight.

He told The Sun that when he asked the woman to return to her assigned seat, she argued with him before spending some time protesting with a flight attendant who asked her to move.

"Staff quickly asked the lady to return to her seat and indicated that she could not arbitrarily adjust. The woman said angrily, 'Why?'.

"She was told there is an extra fee for those areas and it took four to five minutes for the woman to return to her own seat."

Mr Lam said the woman returned to her own seat before takeoff, but kept returning to the premium seats even after she was asked to remain in her assigned seat.

The fellow-passenger said the woman returned to the better seats and refused to get up again.

She eventually returned to her original seat after entering into a second argument with cabin crew.

"Then, a few minutes later, the woman [appeared] behind me for the third time, so a flight attendant asked the middle-aged woman to return - saying it was not fair to others," Mr Lam said.

Her disobedience enraged another male passenger, who was seen on mobile phone footage yelling at the woman, telling her she had an “ugly attitude”.

That old cunt should be stripped naked, cut off her nipples. Insert 2 broomsticks and force open her smelly cunt before pouring some rubbish in.

Not hard to guess what this woman's nick is in this forum.

Air Asia is too cheap to get the police to arrest her and ban her from flying Air Asia for life!
