A funeral held at an HDB void deck in Jalan Tenaga left behind numerous prayer items and discarded food strewn on the ground, including a pig's head.

Reaching out to Mothership, one resident shared a video of the aftermath, showing the pig's head lying on the floor.

Other food items were strewn around the area as pigeons picked through them.

The resident told Mothership that they believe the funeral ended between the night of Feb. 7 and the morning of Feb. 8.

However, he discovered the pig's head was still lying on the ground at 5:30pm on Feb. 8.

Although the resident observed no pests other than pigeons, he reported that the area was infested with flies.

He added that he reached out to the town council as well.

By the next morning on Feb. 9, the items and trash had been cleared.

In a similar incident previously, a Facebook user shared on Complaint Singapore that a funeral left joss paper scattered along the void deck in Bukit Batok in December 2025.

One user in the comments claimed he was one of the funeral directors for that funeral and noted that the scattering of joss papers is part of a final ritual.

He added that town council cleaners are called to clean up the area, but suggested they may have arrived after the person took the photo.
