In some condo, they outnumber the locals!! In Woodlands, it is like a American town where the US cowboys stay in big bungalows complete with their own basketball court!! The workplace have not been spared. So many stories about FTs hiring their own and giving preferential treatments .. Must be true.
The invasion is in full swing!! Soon the Singapore we know is lost and all of us will end us as work slaves to our new ' colonial masters'!! So forget about our 50th year of independence!! We r now a conquered country!!

1. They communicate with international standards...no bastardised english.
2. Most companies here are foreign companies...as such they would want the top guy to be someone who they can trust, someone who can rise above partisan interests.
3. Comfortable with seeing the bigger picture...company is not here to provide locals with maximum income, leisure and happiness. Objective is profit and shareholder satisfaction. As such you need someone who can see the bigger picture, not get bogged down in petty racial disputes.

I will try not to abuse!! But the bigger question is why our LT(local talent) cannot fill this?? Out of the FTs I have encountered, only 50% make the grade and even then it is arguable whether they r better than their subordinates who r local. Must be the overly liberal open environment that also allow LT to be discriminated in their workplace, and this u can thank our dear PAP for this!!

That is of course your opinion and Im afraid it contains a lot of speculation.

Having said that, i have seen evidence that locals DO NOT even like local bosses.
