This heap of dirty trays and utensils dumped on the floor of Changi Airport Terminal Three is an utter disgrace, says an embarrassed STOMPer KS.

What would tourists think of our internationally acclaimed airport if they saw this, he wonders.

According to KS, the foodcourt was very busy and cleaners could not clear tables quickly enough.

Hence, impatient diners decided to leave the dirty trays and rubbish on the floor.

The situation got so bad that cleaners would clear the trays only to find the pile stacked even higher when they returned.

KS says in an email:

"The cleaners at the foodcourt were trying to clear the trays left on the floor.

"Initially, it was just a few but it accumulated in a span of 20 minutes, when I return from buying food.

"The cleaners just couldn't catch up with the crowd .

"The behaviour is just awful .

"How can the gateway of our nation leave this sort of impression to visitors?

"This happened on the May 1 at about 8pm."
