Bedok Reservoir Road residents are forced to walk in the dark with light bulbs missing from most of the void decks, sheltered walkways and general areas between blocks 122 to 135.

In an email to STOMP, STOMPer Zul recounted:

“I have been thinking what are the Aljuined town council doing?

“Almost all blocks, sheltered walkways and areas in front of resident houses have blown bulbs and some of them are missing bulbs.

“It totally poorly maintained.

“During my inspecting yesterday, from blocks 122 to 135 Bedok Reservior Road, all blocks had the same problem.

“But I wonder what at the supervisor do when they are doing the routine checks, can't they see some of the bulbs have been stolen or damaged due to no protective covers as shown.

“I hope Aljunied Town Council will do something about this.”
