maybe only 1 day jail term since PRC trash is national treasure to em

I can read u the sentence now: Death by misadventure, Manslaughter not cupable to homicide.

LOL.

Does anyone knows who imported this FT Trash-we should boycott the employer/company concerned.
Isn't it enough that they are stealing our jobs, deprived our children of their places in educational institutions /sports team and cheated our monies via the red stocks in the SGX- now they are even resorting to murder!
The irresponsible people that opened the floodgates for their own selfish reasons must be held accountable.

Has the relationship between the 2 men been reported?
If they had some kind of business or personal relationship, the legal system should handle this problem.
But if it was just a random killing because the chinamen wanted money or some other reason, don't you think the some authority, other than the legal system, should also be held accountable?

Suspect it's a matter of affairs of the heart.

Cabbie is one of those hum saps who like to ferry the PRC pros/K'oke ladies. China boyfren not happy, chut dor (come out knife)

Let's see if I'm rite.

Bro,
It's nothing to do with the heart.
But could be something to do with the penis.
Akan datang.

If the PRC defence were to be ... we were his passenger but he died of heart attack so we push his body into the bushes and we drove away ... lawyers teach then how ???

SINGAPORE: Not only did the murderer of a taxi driver not feel guilty, he also tried to exploit the situation by trying to extort money from the dead man's wife.

Justice Lee Seiu Kin came to this conclusion in the High Court, Tuesday, and sentenced Chinese National Wang Wenfeng, 32, to death for the murder of cabby Mr Yuen Swee Hong, 58.

Wang had called Mr Yuen's wife, Madam Chan Oi Lin, claiming he had kidnapped Mr Yuen and demanded S$150,000 in ransom.

She did not know Wang had already killed her husband and had dumped his body in a forest.

Mr Yuen was killed in the early hours of April 11, 2009, in Jalan Selimang in Sembawang after a struggle with Wang in his taxi.

Wang had boarded Mr Yuen's taxi at Sun Plaza in Sembawang with the intention of robbing him.

Justice Lee said judging from the deep stab wounds inflicted on Mr Yuen, they would have resulted in heavy bleeding and a loss of consciousness within a short time.

Justice Lee added Wang could only have done it with the intention of inflicting such an injury and that was enough to kill.

During the murder trial between March and April this year, a taxi was brought to the High Court premises where Wang demonstrated his version of the struggle between him and Mr Yuen that fateful morning.

The Chinese national who murdered a taxi driver and abandoned his body in a jungle in Sembawang was sentenced to death this morning.

The murderer (32 years old) is a technician named Wang Wen Feng from Fujian, China.

He had killed the taxi driver before hiding his body in Sembawang. He later proceeded to remove the blood stains from the taxi.

He also destroyed the GPS system and extorted $150,000 from the deceased’s wife. Wang showed no signs of remorse during the trial.

The body of the 58-year-old taxi driver, Yuan Shui Hong, was found near a jungle in Sembawang and prosecutors believed that he was murdered between 4-9am on 11 April 2009.

He still have 1 last chance.
Given the latest presidential election result, he could jolly well be pardon.

i dun see any way how he can get a presidential pardon.

after killing the taxi driver,he still call to extort money...how cold blooded can he get?

kudos to you for looking up a 2 and half year old thread to post the sentencing.

I remember during the court hearing when the persecutor asked the murderer if he had brought the knife out to rob that night, the bastard answered: "to commit robbery of course bring a knife... does anyone bring a banana?"
