An accident had left this bus lying on its side on the PIE (Pan Island Expressway), causing traffic to slow to a crawl during morning rush hour.
In an email today (June 3) the STOMPer described the scene:
"This is the bus that caused the jam on the PIE this morning.
"The bus was travelling from opposite the direction of Tuas.
"It ended up on the first lane of the road in the direction of Changi."
Another STOMPer, Wahliaoeh, was caught in the huge jam as well.
"I got onto the PIE via Eng Neo Avenue and almost
immediately got stuck in the jam.
Cars were lined up all the way until just after
the Steven's Road exit.
"The jam was so bad that I could honestly have
got out of my vehicle and walked faster. It took me 45 minutes to
complete a journey that usually only takes 15 minutes.
"Come to think of it, it's amazing that such an accident could have occurred on a perfectly dry road. Perhaps the driver was careless."

This idiot driver should be shot and hung by his balls for creating so much inconvenience. I too was nearly caught in the jam but luckily i was there as the jam was just beginning to build up.

Those busybodies travelling on the opposite slowed down causes another accident...that is always the case..so both side of the expressway is jam...and back flow into other expressway.....

How come the bus skip on the fast lane or most right hand side?>
Conclusion the bus driver must be speeding and skip.
Must jail and fine bus driver.
1. For driving on illegal lane or 1st lane.
2. Speeding if not the bus cannot skip and overturn on dry road.

Actually the bus skidded from the opposite lane, the direction towards Jurong on lane 3 and skid all the way across hit the barrier and landed on its side on lane 1 on the other side of the road towards Changi Airport...

Such idiots, if die also cannot pity cos they practically ask for it..

Saw the accident while driving to woodland at 8.30am,the jam was massive from PIE at steven road exit right up to to BKE till mandai...damn jialat are those public bus full of standing passengers..by the time they reach their destination their legs sure turn jelly..worst than passing out parade.
