SINGAPORE: The Elections Department of Singapore will be updating the registers of electors based on their latest NRIC address as of 19 March 2012.

It said the names and addresses of electors will be removed and transferred to the appropriate registers of electors on 13 April.

Before the changes are made, the list of electors' names to be removed or transferred will be available for inspection at the Elections Department -- at 11 Prinsep Link, Singapore 187949 -- from 27 March to 9 April.

Members of public can also check online their particulars in the registers, via the ELD website, or at any community centres or community clubs.

They must present their NRIC or passport for authentication of identity.
