Ever wonder why some Singaporeans pay millions to stay above a bus interchange.

Firstly, the buses will keep emitting exhaust carbon right underneath you for some 18 hours daily ( 6am to 12 midnight)
AND IT IS EVERY,EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR.

Does LTA look into this concern to see if the air there is properly filtered and purified before releasing it for u to breath.?

OK. I got this from my son who is a resident in Sydney. He said the stretch of road that runs towards the airport through the tunnel, there is a higher incident rate of lung cancer amongst the resident there. Some 30% higher.

The tunnel exhausts run alongside the tunnel.

Ok..another point...More people in HK are killed by foul air that SARS.

OK still another point...Lung disease and lung failure is the world Number 1 killer..

Still want to breath foul air in Bedok Interchange..???

The paper says that commuters complain of 10 minutes delay at the Interchange.

But the residents there should look into it if their lives will be shorten by 10 years if they stay there.

A number of my kakis around EC GRC pledging to vote the PAP out, the elderly folks a tad too stubborn :o:o:o
