I did a simple calculation of the extra cost PR paid over Singaporeans for education.

Primary Level
$42 * 6 years = $252/-

Secondary Level
S$72(PR fees) - S$60 (Singaporeans fees)
= $12 * 4 years =$48

PreU JC
S$84(PR fees) - S$72(Singaporeans fees)
=$12 *2 years =$24

NUS business
$8,270(PR fees) - $6,890(Singaporeans fees)
= $1380 * 3 years = $4140

Total extra fees PR foreigner paid = $4140 + $24 + $48 +$252 = $4260

imagine your foreigner schoolmate graduate and earn $2700 for 30 months while you are serving NS,

30 * 2700 = $81,000

you in NS 400 * 30 = $12,000

dun forget that when you ORD, and start getting 2700 salary, your foreigner schoolmate are already making about $3500 - $4000 per moth liao.
