SINGAPORE: Singapore police have arrested five people suspected of being involved in a series of theft from motor vehicles in Holland housing estate.
The five, aged between 19 and 23, were arrested on Monday and Tuesday.
Preliminary investigations show the suspects could be responsible for more than five cases where cash cards and cash were stolen from vehicles that had been left unsecured, the police said in a statement on Tuesday.
Two of the suspects will be charged in court on Wednesday for an offence of theft from vehicle with common intention. If convicted, they could be imprisoned for up to three years.
