The truth hurts.I dunno why you wasted your time listening to false accusation.
Intellects of a donkey, that applies to a lot of people here.
Anti Cn spout againI dunno why you wasted your time listening to false accusation.
Sadam asked for and got permission from the US to invade Kuwait.a bit over dramatic, but you know what? Almost every major insurrection in the world has been sponsored by the CIA for the last 50 years. Although I never thought about this possibility, I'm not surprised if this guy is right.
Nobody today remembers that Saddam originally had American equipment. He even had US fighter jets. He was supported by the Yanks to counterbalance the CIA's failed Iranian experiment.
edit : even till today, Iranians have not problem with the American people. Only the CIA and the government directing it.
thx for the details.Sadam asked for and got permission from the US to invade Kuwait.
But suddenly US changed their mind after Saudi pressure.
The thing is, the huge oil reservoir underneath at the nirthern tip of persian gulf is shared by three countries. So the one that suck it out the most will benefit.
US supported Saddam in the war against Iran. But not sufficient to cover the total cost.
So it wanted Kuwait oil wealth as well.

still it proves the point that the CIA is behind a great deal of crap.
no disagreement here. but why bother? Those societies were all unstable to begin with. Their leaders were mostly dictators and there was a negligible middle class. Lots of disgruntled natives the CIA could make use of.
The CIA doesn't really hide it. You can find enough shows on Netflix that shows CIA operatives stirring up crap or bungling up cartel operations that lead to cartels growing bigger despite their bosses getting taken down.

you just get a big target painted on your back.
and it's great that there's freedom of speech. Keeps them from going totally crazy.
Because stirring trouble in unstable countries creates jobs for CIA and the State Department. I believe that often, the objectives of the CIA, State Department, Pentagon, FBI, NSA, are not always aligned. The US is a huge country, and each of these departments have a budget the size of other countries' national budgets.
In the past, countries meddle a bit in politics and engage more in war because it was cheaper to fight in wars. Today, it's much harder for larger countries to start wars. So the next best thing is making use of disgruntled locals to start revolutions. It costs a lot less money until they decide to put boots on the ground.
unfortunately true. The ones who make the most demands are usually also the most easily offended. Too bad for them.My understanding is that most oppies hate freedom of speech. Most oppies demand for freedom of speech when they want to criticize governments. But the same oppies easily get offended when people rebut them and they start fights in real life.
