Why need Doc in first place? I hardly ever write sick notes for patients in Canada. Only those for motor vehicle accidents to certify how many days work they missed for insurance and legal claims.

Singapore is archaic.

How about using the Mobike, the OfO the whatever bikes, they throw around the place to get to the exams? other than using the forever "testing their signals' train services??

They shall mobilize their units and red Rhino to fetch students to the exam halls.
People association can mobilize all RC uncles and aunties to drive these poor students to the exam halls.

World's most livable is a true fact but it's for FTs who drives not for locals
 
The solution is so simple-but the pappy will not do it-reduce the number of foreigners working here.
Not only will train breakdowns be reduced, but also most of our social problems eg rising consumption/cost of- water, housing, medicine ,ect2.
There will also be less pollution (noise/air),overcrowding in public transport/housing/hospitals and more jobs and university places for locals.

Until then, let the 70% (like frogs)BE slowly boiled alive -one symptom is being squeezed like sardines in MRT's and yet do not even raised a whimper (brain/nerves already damaged?)

on a positive chit, oops i mean note, hk mtr will learn from smrt, copy the methology and invention, and offer chits to commuters too as the mtr is beginning to break down frequently. smrt can file a patent application for this wonderful invention.
 
Kudos to Desmond for his initiative and goodwill. I think another raise is warranted.
 
Can use this note to excuse from court appearances?
 
Today news....more train delays....NEL & DTL also.....same excuse...." testing the signals"...will SBS TRANSIT be issuing excuse chits also?....the Ministry of Transport must take over the authority of issuing "Excuse Chit"...with the computer generated signature of Cow$8 or else soon, you will read, there will be many counterfeit train providers, " excuse chits"...
