Harian Metro reported of a Filipino man who slashed his girlfriend’s father because the father had disapproved of their relationship.
The incident happened at Bandar Baru Ampang when the 40-year-old father came back from market not far from his house.
The father said the Filipino man had known his daughter for a few months, but he disagreed with her choice of a boyfriend.
The police said the foreigner attacked the father from behind. He suffered a broken hip. Police confirmed that a 20-year-old Filipino had been detained and a long knife seized.
