A Filipino maid in Toa Payoh was jailed 2 weeks today (June 30) for breaking the right arm of a 7 month old toddler.
Valencia Gemalyn Garma, 24, was awakened by the baby girl’s cries in the middle of the night, around 1.30am on February 21, and she was frustrated because she had to take care for another 2 year old sibling earlier before she get to sleep. Valencia pulled the toddler’s right arm violently when carrying her causing fractures to her right arm.
